Request to Join a SOSS Support Meeting
You do not have to carry this alone.

SOSS offers peer-led Zoom support meetings for adults, age 18 and older, who have lost a brother or sister to suicide. This is a sacred sibling-to-sibling space where grieving siblings can come together in care, honesty, compassion, and understanding. This is a peer-led space created by siblings, for siblings. While we are not therapists or counselors, we walk alongside one another with care, understanding, and shared experience.

Meeting Times

Wednesdays
6:30 PM - 8:00 PM

Saturdays
11:00 AM - 12:30 PM

All times are listed in U.S. Central Time. You are welcome to join at any point and stay for as long or as little as you’d like.

What to Expect
Our meetings are mostly unstructured and gently guided. Many siblings choose to share, while others prefer to listen. There is never any pressure to speak. You are welcome to keep your camera off, stay muted, or simply be present.

Many siblings find comfort in being with others who truly understand. Hearing someone express what you have been carrying can be healing in itself, even when words are hard to find. Here, all beliefs and non-beliefs are respected.

Meeting Guidelines
Our meetings begin with a gentle welcome. You may introduce yourself and your sibling if you feel comfortable. You are always welcome to pass.

Grief shows up in many ways. All are welcome.

We ask everyone to:
•Respect confidentiality
•Listen with compassion
•Avoid interrupting
•Offer support without unsolicited advice
•Honor all backgrounds and beliefs
